Cinthya Allen shared her purpose work in Latinas WIN meeting

Cinthya is currently working with Norman Public Schools and the University of Oklahoma. In her work with NPS, Cinthya is working with Stephanie Williams , NPS Diversity and Enrichment Director.
At OU, Cinthya is working closely with David Surrat, OU Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students and Belinda Hyppolite, OU VP of Diversity and Inclusion.
Cinthya is also working with the City of Norman by helping with talks on diversity, inclusion and cultural understanding. She is planning to work with groups such as the policemen, firemen and others.

Cinthya has worked with Jr. Achievement for a few years and she shared the satisfaction she received by helping students in this mentorship role. She emphasized that actions as simple as our visibility, mentoring and work with the community as a volunteer can be meaningful and bring greater appreciation and understanding. Another example was how she volunteered to help with the elections.
During the meet, Allen spoke of her intention to work closely with:

- David Surrat, OU Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students
- Belinda Hyppolite, OU VP of Diversity and Inclusion
Cinthya mentioned working with the Junior Achievement Programand gave the example of young students (7 year olds) managing a "Donut Shop" and proudly learning about all the processes involved.
Cynthia shared several statements of philosophy:
